GO-TO GALZ Challenge #2

Hi everyone,
Here we have my entry for the card #2 challenge. I made a cute little hamburger and popped him up on pop dots. Also on the card are stickers that look like packets of mustard and ketchup which are also popped up. The hamburger came from the Cricut Simply Charmed cartridge. The punch that I used as a border is a EK Success punch. The inside sentiment is "Hope you have a whopper of a birthday". Thought this card was very cute. and could be used for any age birthday. Hope you like it too. Until the next challenge - keep creating.

Seeing Red Card Challenge

Here is my entry for the Seeing Red Card Challenge. I used a Magnolia stamp and colored her with Copic markers. The border is made with a Martha Stewart punch. I stamped the image, and then scanned it into my computer where I could then re size it. I like the larger size stamped images as they are much easier for me to color and they then become the focal point of my card. The background paper is from a stack I got a long time ago, so I don't know what it is. The inside sentiment is "Hope you are having a cool day." Well I hope you are having a cool day too and that you like my card. Until the next challenge - bye for now.

Christmas in July Challenge

Here is my card for the Christmas in July Challenge. I used the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge. The sack of toys, the present, and the Santa tag all came from a package of Christmas embellishments. The paper was from a DCWV stack. I love how this little card turned out, however I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Teddy Bear Parade cut outs. They are all so very cute. I have enjoyed using them in other cards that I have made. I really enjoy making Christmas cards and have made a different card for each of my  recipients for the past two years. I am eager to get started on my cards for this year and this will get me started. I hope you like my Santa Teddy too.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge-Summer Time

Hi All,
Here is my entry for the Summer Time challenge. The little girl is a Magnolia stamp that I colored with copic markers. What I did was to stamp the image and then scan the image into my computer. I then re sized it larger and printed it out. I colored the larger stamped image which is a lot easier to do. I used a Martha Stewart flower punch for the bottom border. I popped the image up on pop dots. The inside sentiment is have a really cool summer. I hope you like this little entry as much as I liked making it. Until next time - have a great day.

Yummy Ice Cream

Hi Everyone,
With the weather getting warmer and summer soon upon us, I thought this little card would be just the thing to get us in the mood for ice cream. I happen to think any time of year is good for ice cream. I used a Matilda stamp on white card stock and then scaned it into my computer and resized it larger. I used my copic markers to color the stamp. I am getting better at using the copics and I like how they look for coloring stamps. I used a flower punch to add a border to the card. I really like the looks of this card and for the inside sentiment I used "Wishing you a happy birthday". I like making the stamps larger as I think you can see more detail. I hope you like this little card. Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day. Blog you again soon.

Luck of the Irish

C
Hi all,
Here is my latest card for the Cardz TV challenge # 25. I have  both the shamrock and the leprechaun on this card. The leprechaun is from the Cricut Simply Charmed cartridge. The background paper is from Paper Studio. As you can see my little leprechaun has gold coins from his pot of gold. The inside sentiment is Luck of the Irish from the spring card cartridge by Cricut. I really like how he turned out. You can't get much more Irish than this, but then I am a Kathleen so I guess I should know Irish. I hope you enjoy him. Look for more cute cards soon.

Crafty Card Challenge # 125

Hi All,
Here is my entry for the card challenge. I used the heart design from the Cricut Imagine machine. The little stamp is a Penny Black stamp with a little hedgehog and a little ladybug. I used markers on this stamp, but have found that color chalk is a better way to color these stamps. I ran the background paper through the Cuttlebug Divine Swirls folder. The sentiment I created from my computer. Inside it says I love you - Happy Valentines Day. I think it turned out real cute though I would use the chock next time. I hope you like the card and I will post again soon.

Just on my way - to blog

Hi all,
Thought I would post a new card today so you can see my attempts at coloring with Copic markers. This what they call a digital stamp from a company called Tiddly Inks. I colored it in with the markers and put it on a card. I think is is very cute and I am learning more all the time about how to work with different mediums to color stamps. The inside sentiment says "to wish you a happy birthday. I hope you enjoy the post. Until next time.

My favorite Christmas card 2012

Hi all,
Here is my favorite Christmas card that I made this year. I think it came out so cute. I love the little clothes pins for stocking hangers. They are just like the ones in the sentiment on the front. I used the Cricut Imagine cartridge to make the stockings. I think they are very pretty. I did keep this card as I was afraid that the clothes pins might get broken if I tried to send this through the mail. I can use it as an example for cards for next years group. I always have one card that stands out and I have a hard time parting with that one as all the cards I make are different. I hope you enjoyed your card this year. It is one of a kind. Thanks for taking a look and I will post more cards soon.

Color Challenge # 23

Hi again,
Here is my entry for the color challenge of Red, White, and Black. I used red and white paper for my heart card base. The shoes are from the Cricut cartridge The Nifty Fifties. This is a get well card for my sister who loves saddle shoes as do I. A blast from the past for us. I thought it would be cute to use a heart shape card that I cut out with my Cricut Imagine since it was so near Valentines day. It is a pretty simple little card, but very cute just the same and also using the colors in the challenge. I hope you enjoy it and stay tuned for more cute little cards.

Paper Playtime Challenge

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted to my blog, but I have some great cards to share with you. This card was made using the "I love you a Latte" cartridge. I used coffee themed ribbon to trim the edges of the card. The sentiments are ones I printed from my computer. I love the little travel cup from that cartridge. I found a Starbucks logo and sized it to fit the front of the cup. Since I am sending this to a friend and not using it for sale it should be OK. I have plenty of brown for the challenge. I hope you like it and stay tuned for more cute cards.
